CERAMIC JEWELLERY
There are few ideas i have been thinking on for my thesis one of them is ceramic jewelry. jewelry is an object that creates statements . jewelry enhances the beauty of the person, it also defines the personality, it gives you self boost and and power up your self esteme it is the most feminine product, and it is in existence from the day a woman exist.
as we talk about ceramic jewelry.. the most fragile form of jewelry comes to our mind.. because clay is a fragile material. but when fired it gets into its strongest form. and it gives us imense flexibility that we can shape and mould our piece to any shape we want. clay is one of the most flexible material and allows us to put the very intricate and difficult designs into the form of our choice.
the form and final product also depend on the choice of clay. ceramic jewelry can be made with the fusion of precious metals, such as gold, silver, platinum. and can also be infused with precious stones. the main edge that ceramic gives us that we can play with the glazes at a vast scale and can make the clay look like gold or silver.
here the question appears that clay is a very delicate and fragile material, how can we guarantee that it wont break when it falss.. we can not give guarantee to any jewelry either it made in gold, silver or in ceramic, because jewelry is a very delicate piece of art and one need to handle every piece very delicately. as we look according to physics as the size and dia of and objects reduces it gets more strength.
its not necessary that we stick to only jewelry we can include
broaches, earrings,studs,cufflings,beads,buttons,rings, head jewelry etc

STONE SHAPED TABLE WARE
Second topic that i have thought about is table ware items inspired from stones of my region, GILGIT BALTISTAN, the table ware itemss will include plates of different sizes, bowls, cups , soup bowls, spoons. they will be in asymetrical form. visually giving the impact of stone but will be in clay, it will define the contrast relation between the clay and stone. the color radiants play a vital role in the visual appealing of these stones. the abstract forms and shapes the asymmetry in the shapes appeals the human eye to look at them again and again
CERAMIC WIND CHIMES
3rd topic which i had in mind in ceramic wind chimes. they wwill come in the form of miniature design. the sounds of chimes gives peace to human mind and makes us realize the existence of a thing that we can not see with our eyes..
SCULPTURAL TEA POTS
tea pots are a utility objects. usually seen on our dinning tables. i want to make sculputral tea pots that serves both purposes , purpose of utility and decoration at the same time and amazes human eye aswel.
